BASWA Phon is a premium sound absorbing acoustical plaster system, engineered and manufactured in Switzerland according to the highest quality standards and suitable for all types of stable substrates, whether flat, curved, vaulted, arched or domed. Baswa is made of carefully selected natural raw materials, 93% of which are recycled: marble sand and glass granulate.

The importance of wall absorption
Sound absorption at the ceiling improves the acoustic comfort of the room spectacularly. However, unwanted reflections of the mid and high frequencies between parallel walls may result in a reverberation time much longer than expected. Wall absorption is needed to ensure speech intelligibility. Acoustic wall treatment eliminates these flutter echoes.
For aesthetic reasons the acoustic wall treatment should have the same appearance and integration as the applied ceiling absorption.
Maintenance, durability and impact resistance are additional important factors determining the choice of wallcovering.
BASWA Basic, the robust addition to our modular BASWA ecosystem
With BASWA Basic it is possible to apply a seamless marble sand sound absorbing plaster to walls and low ceilings. The rigid expanded glass granulate panels are glued and coated seamlessly with BASWA plaster. Thanks to the drastic reduction of the installation time, BASWA Basic is also an adequate solution for any existing room with poor acoustics. BASWA BASIC panels are finished with the natural and exclusive look of BASWA Phon marble sand plaster. BASWA Basic is also suitable for use in damp environments: it effectively reduces noise in indoor swimming pools, spas, under balconies and school-yards.
